This is a great place to do a lot of laundry at once. The staff is very helpful. The machines are kept clean and the prices are reasonable. It can be busy on the weekends but the people who use this establishment are friendly and do not crowd space. With a lot of machines you can easily get a lot done and once. I have not had the other expierences others have had. I fill the machines all the way up. The machines work fine and the prices they have on detergent seem reasonable for purchasing on the spot. There is no ATM but there is a coin machine.
I went to another laundromat and asked if it's true that I can only fill the machine less than halfway and that owner laughed out loud! He said,"Of course not! That's a big machine! Fill it up.
Yesterday was the last straw, I was loading one of the big $4.00 washers and he reached in and started removing my clothes. He told me to only fill the machine less than halfway. I took my things out, told him I'm never coming back. He told me to get out.
Been using them for years.... Very well maintained. Plus.... Great breakfast next door
I've given this place way too many chances to do the right thing. The dryers are terrible. When I complained, the owner told me I close the dryer door too hard,??? Another time, the dryers just weren't hot enough . I wanted a refund for the dryers, He asked me how much I put in and I told him. He had emptied the coins just a few minutes before I complained., so of course i the only coins were the 2 I had just added. I tried to tell him that before he emptied the coins I had put in at least 4 quarters in each dryer.
First off I've been a resident for 40 + years and have used this laundry mat through the years on and off as needed so this review is also about how it used to be. Years ago the place was spotless! The old owners and folks that ran it kept every inch clean and spotless. They were also always friendly and helpful. Now for my most recent trip. The place was filthy not to mention run down and old looking. Not only were tops of the machines covered with dust and spilled detergent but the floor was dirty with cracked and broken tiles. If you drop something out of the washer while unloading you better rewash it. Second major difference now from then is the equipment . I was using the larger dryers. After 30 minutes in one my clothes were not even close to dry. I pointed it out to the man working who came over put a quarter in , put his ear to the door ( I kid you not )and said " it working, no problem with machine " and started to walk away . I tried to explain it was not getting hot to which he disagreed with. I was not asking for my money back or making a fuss, simply letting him know it had a problem. He begrudgingly gave me a couple quarters back ( which I appreciate since this trip cost me almost $15! ) but he acted like I was trying to scam him and was defensive. By his reaction I'm guessing this has happened before. Not great customer service . I also noticed signs posted that said you can not use the dryers unless you washed the clothes there. I find this strange. Not like the dryers are free! Some folks might only have a washer, or it's broken at home. Why would a business owner refuse paying customers?? Along with those signs there are biblical quotes on all the walls. Personally I have no issue with it as its a privately owned and thats their right but some might take issue with them. My last complaint is while I was still doing my wash ( after the dryer issue)I had one of those baskets on wheels 6 inches from me obviously still using it, the same man walked over and took it away from me. Not like he needed it as they had tons up front! Again this is more of after how it used to be and kept vs the condition now. It's sad to see a local community business that's been around forever decay. Needless to say I won't return. I gave it 2 stars because they do have a lot of machines!
I'm NEVER going to this place again. The owner is a nasty, mean,dishonest man. He should read the Bible verses he posts all around his business. Just what Jesus would do,pal,NOT!!!
Really, don't patronize this place.
He constantly stops washing machines that leak and blames the customers for his faulty machines.
Place is clean if you have a problem workers are here in the laundromat to help you out. Plenty of washers and dryers .place is kept clean and everything is around in town for food and if you forgot to bring your laundry soap.
